In kind role undertaken for this project was a client advisory role to advise on the redevelop of a former 1970s Catholic school building of 1300m2 GBA into a campus suitable to the school curriculum and twice exceptional students. The design is unique to the school’s ‘strength based’ learning curriculum and seeks to add value to the diverse needs in General Learning Areas including maximising multi-purpose functionality, offering environments for blended and experimental learning styles, and using internal treatments to ignite imagination and assist students in developing their individual Learning Plan. Prepare project requirement brief
Advise and oversee Town Planning conditions into project delivery plan
Site condition due diligence including sourcing or creating existing condition reports due to limited or no existing condition drawings or documentation including:
• Geotechnical reports
• Hazardous Material & Environmental report
• Existing structure (above and below ground) intrusive investigation and engineering
• BCA & DDA compliance reportsAdvise client on engagement of project specialist consultant team
Prepare various building area budgets from concept through to tender
Prepare VISBGA Government grant application feasibility report to successfully obtain funding to finance the project
Provide development master programme timelines
Prepare project risk register and manage throughout the project
Convene on behalf of the client the Project Design & Construction Team meetings
Advise and oversee project delivery procurement methodology
Prepare and submit monthly project reports to VISBGA and respond to any queries
Co-ordinate in kind Café area fit out provided by Channel Nine THE BLOCK
Manage the construction phase through to final certificate, handover and DLP.
Prepare and submit project close out reports to VISBGA through to end of DLP.
