Guardian’s vision is to become the highest quality provider of childcare centres in Australia. Andrew Henderson was selected to deliver their most intricate and complex facilities. The project involved converting the first floor retail and the second floor plant room areas of an existing building, into a state-of-the-art childcare and learning space. The works included significant structural modifications including over 20 tonnes of structural steel all inside an operational shopping centre and residential tower complex. Andrew delivered a successful outcome for all stakeholders with careful planning and tenant engagement. The project scope included a new commercial kitchen, teaching and administration areas, along with natural landscaped learning environments. This project is the new benchmark in childcare construction.
